The Lights of Christmas will once again transform St Mary’s Cathedral into a spectacular show of light and sound nightly from 13th – 25th December 2012.
Sydney's most treasured building were lit up in the resulting five-night theatrical display.
Sydney's iconic Macquarie Street came to life after during during the Vivid Sydney festival of 2010 for Macquarie Visions, a free public event celebrating the 200th anniversary and story of Governor Lachlan Macquarie and his wife Elizabeth.
Smart Light Sydney captured the imaginations of visitors to Sydney's harbour precinct during the Vivid Sydney festival of 2009.
Sydney will once again be transformed into a spectacular canvas of light, music and ideas when Vivid Sydney takes over the city after dark from 24 May – 10 June 2013.
Brisbane became a stage for Queensland’s food, produce and musical talent, when delectable festival launched its 14 day program in July this year.

Crowds gathered for Sydney’s popular Lights of Christmas opening tonight, 13 December, with a theme of Unity delivered in the opening address by Auxiliary Bishop of Sydney, the Most Rev Julian Porteous, and reflected in the massive projection display featuring wreaths of flowers from around the globe.
